John Daniel Hilterbrand

John Daniel Hilterbrand, 72 of Bainbridge, went into the arms of his Savior, unexpectedly Monday, December 9, 2013 from his home. He was born April 28, 1941 in Highland County to the late Ralph and Jessie Hilterbrand.

He is survived by his wife of 38 yrs Verla Purvis Hilterbrand; his children, Shawna (Jim) Competti of Columbus, Melody (Don) Krall of Dublin, Andrea (Kenny) Woods of Bainbridge, IIie (Candy) Mutter of Chillicothe, Greg (Beth) Hilterbrand of TX, Karen (Doug) Simon of TN, Robin (Tim) Detweiller of London, Tammy (Phil) Wilson of Rainsboro; daughter-in-law, Barb Hilterbrand of IN; Grandchildren, Ashley Competti, Marcus Krall, Nick and Amy Mendenhall, Beth Barker, Peyton and Gavin Bell, Jeremy and Jeffery Hilterbrand, Jill Medina, Stacey Rhodes, Drew Hilterbrand, Tiffany Blakemore, Jr, David and Devin Cox, Lindsey Simon, Rachel, Rebecca, Tim and Jim Detweiler, Ciera and Austin Wilson and numerous great grandchildren; Sisters, Thelma Taylor, Edith (Tom) Druce, Dorothy (Jess) Vandyke, Maxine (Russ) Vandyke, Imogene Paugh; Brothers, Bob Hilterbrand and Charley (Donna) Hilterbrand.

He was predeceased by a son, Timothy Hilterbrand and a granddaughter, Jamie Gabriel Competti.

Dan attended the Chapel of Hope in Greenfield where the funeral services will be held 12 pm Saturday, December 14, 2013 with Pastor Randy Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 am until the time of service Saturday at the Church.
