John Edward "Henry" Knisley

John E. "Henry" Knisley 84 of Bainbridge died 1:50 am Saturday, April 4, 2015 at his home. He was born march 19, 1931 in Highland County, the son of the late John Leighton and Margaret Grace Washburn Knisley.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn Newlan Knisley; children, Terry Edward Knisley, Penni Miller and LuAnn (Rick) Everhart all of Chillicothe, Jonathan Knisley of Texas and Alexis Knisley of Bainbridge; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; a brother, Earl Daniel (Macie) Knisley of Hillsboro; and many friends including close friends, George Willet, Jack Yoakum and Terry May.

In addition to his parents Henry was predeceased by two brothers, Harry David and Wells William Knisley.

Henry was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and he liked square dancing and various kinds of music but his love was working, running his dozer and welding.

A special thanks goes out the Adena Hospice and the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Jeff Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by the Ross County Honor Guard. Friends may visit with Henry's family on Thursday from 12 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
