Joyce A. Short

Joyce A. Short, 68, of Frankfort, died at 10:30 am on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at her home. She was born on March 26, 1951 in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Alvie Denver Sr. and Mildred L. Higginbotham Jeffers. On December 30, 1983 she married Jack Short, who survives.

In addition to her husband Jack, Joyce is survived by four children, Corey Johnson of Chillicothe, Traci (Mike) Johnson of Florida, Trena (Jason) Butler of Chillicothe, Gary Johnson Jr. of Chillicothe, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, one sister, Robin (Terry Sims) Jeffers of Frankfort, two brothers, Tony (Debbie) Jeffers of Lucasville, Denver (Diane) Jeffers of Frankfort, and special friends, Shelli (Ben) Row of Frankfort and Wanda (Steve) Wess.

Joyce loved crafting, painting, and was a fantastic wife and mother to her family.

Friends and family are invited to visit with Joyce’s family at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort, on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 5 to 8 p.m.. In keeping with Joyce’s wishes, cremation will follow.
