Judith Ann Smith

Judith A. Smith, 67, of Clarksburg, died in the early morning on Friday, August 1, 2014 at her home. She was born on December 30, 1946 in Ross County, the daughter of Gene and Mary Daughtery Downing. On June 15, 1973 she married Dale Smith, and he survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Mary Downing of Chillicothe, children, Frank (Chris) Lugenbeel of Clarksburg, Brian (Shauna) Lugenbeel of Augusta, Georgia, Lisa (Nathan) Buckner of Centerville, grandchildren, Brittney, Corttney, Brandon, Jacob, Ashlyn, Blake, Nicholas, great-grandchildren, Caden, Syrus, Jaxon, sister, Telisa (Richard) Schoonover of Pleasant Valley, brother, David Downing of Chillicothe. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Downing, and brothers, Austin, Lafe, and Jerry Downing.

Judith was a graduate of the last graduating class from Clarksburg High School in 1965. She had worked at the RCA Plant, Circleville for several years. She dearly loved, and was all about, her family.

In keeping with Judith's wishes cremation will take place.
