Judy A. Hagerty, 69, of Frankfort, passed from this life following a seven-month battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was born on Monday, March 21, 1955, in Chillicothe, a daughter of the late Jack and Elsie Lea Ramey Auxier. On September 24, 1977, she married Ronald D. Hagerty, who survives.
Also surviving are two children: Mike (Abbie) Hagerty of Chillicothe and Jackie (Luke) James of Frankfort, six grandchildren: Andrew Hagerty, Austin Hagerty, Brody Griffin, Jasper James, Derek Hagerty and Rex James, one sister: Shirley Sever of Chillicothe, one niece, Amy McDonald and one nephew, Jason Sever and numerous great nieces and nephews. Judy is also survived by a cousin, who was like a sister to her, Sharon and Larry Collins of Paintsville, KY and a special friend, Joan Uhrig of Chillicothe.
Judy loved spending time with her family, especially time with her grandchildren. She loved Christmas and large family gatherings at her home. Judy had a strong faith in God and attended the following churches over the years: St. Benignus Catholic Church in Greenfield, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chillicothe and the First Church of Christ in Chillicothe.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, with her cousin, Brian Auxier officiating at the Ebright Funeral Home,55 W. Springfield St., Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. After the memorial service, family and friends are encouraged to gather for a lunch and sharing of memories at the Little Buck Lodge, 2027 Mallow Rd., Frankfort. Those wishing to share a memory of Judy may sign her online register.
