Julius W. Bayless, 70, of Chillicothe, died Monday morning, February 12, 2024, in the Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born on December 16, 1953, to the late Grace Yvonne Bayless and Sherman Johnson. 

On January 31, 1976, Julius married the former Deborah J. Tyler, and she preceded him in death on May 22, 2022. Julius is survived by his two sons, Roshawn Bayless of Chillicothe, and Jeremy (Leah) Bayless of Jackson, plus numerous grandchildren, three brothers, three sisters, six aunts, one uncle, and three brothers-in-law.

Julius was preceded in death by his wife, and his son, Durado Daunté. He was also preceded by his parents, both sets of grandparents, his in-laws, a sister, and numerous aunts and uncle.

Upon graduating from Chillicothe High School, Julius began working he retired from RCA in Circleville, Ohio. He loved playing guitar and singing. Spending time with his children and grandchildren always brought a smile to his face.

Julius will be greatly missed by both family and friends.

Cremation will take place and then family and friends will gather for Julius’ memorial service on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Following the service Julius will be buried with his wife, Debbie, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Those who wish to share a memory of Julius may sign his online register.
