Karen Sue Cox

Karen Sue Cox, 73, of Leesburg, died at 12:08 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at her home.  She was born on January 21, 1944 in Fayette County, the daughter of the late Burris and Edith Lowery Henry. She was preceded in death by her husband James S. Cox, Jr. on August 23, 2001.

She is survived by her children Kristi Mossbarger and James Landrum (Melissa Neace) both of Leesburg; grandchildren; Mariah Landrum. Breah Mitchell, Ashley Landrum and Daulton Landrum, two great-grandchildren; Allara and Cade Garrison, two brothers; Dick and Joe Henry both of Washington Court House and several nieces, nephews and friends.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son; Kevin Landrum, two brothers; Gerald and Jim Henry and sister in law Carolyn Henry.

A graveside service will held at 1:00p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 in the Greenfield Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed. The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME of Bainbridge is serving the family.
