Karen S. Eitel

Karen S. Chaffin Eitel age 70 of Cynthiana, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at her home following an extended illness. She was born April 11, 1951 in Pike County, Ohio.

Karen was preceded in death by her father Glenn Chaffin, mother Geraldine (Kniceley) Chaffin Harrison, stepfather John “Jack” Harrison and husband Thomas A. Eitel.

Karen is survived by three brothers David Chaffin, John Harrison (Judy Pack) and Robert (Beth) Harrison; a niece Falena Harrison; a nephew Joshua Chaffin; her dog Jake and her cats Lucy and Billy.

Karen graduated from Western High School in 1969  and received an Associates Degree from Bliss College in Columbus. Karen retired from ODOT and she loved being outdoors gardening and enjoying the flowers. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge is serving the family.
