Katherine Knauff

Katherine Knauff 86 of Bainbridge passed from this life Monday, November 1, 2021 at her home. She was born March 24, 1935 in Ross County the daughter of the late John and Daisy (Campbell) Wurzbach.

She is survived by five children Karlene (Jeff) Kellis of Frankfort, Rocky (David) Countryman, Penny Elliott, John Knauff and Dean (Dawn) Knauff all of Bainbridge; 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Katherine was preceded in death by the father of her children Wylie W. Knauff; son Wylie Knauff; daughter Monica Adams; daughter-in-law Joyce Knauff; sister Marcella Cowman and brothers Robert “Shorty” Wurzbach and Thomas “Bull” Wurzbach.

Katherine loved her family and enjoyed reading her bible, watching Jimmy Swaggart and traveling. She was also a member of the Cornerstone Church in Chillicothe.

Graveside service will be 2 pm Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in the Bainbridge Cemetery with Paul Martin officiating. No calling hours will be observed.
