Kathleen Dunn

Kathleen Dunn, 89, of Chillicothe, died at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on May 28, 1924 in Middlesboro, Kentucky the daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth Lanham Gilbert. On October 30, 1941 she married Carl C. Dunn, Jr. and he preceded her in death on October 28, 1989.

Surviving are her children; Ernest (Sherri) Dunn, Dale W. Dunn, Freddie Lou Dunn, all of Chillicothe, Ray (Jane) Dunn of Clarksburg, 11 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 5 step great-grandchildren, 14 great great-grandchildren, sister; Alma (Ed) Allen of Middlesboro, KY, a special person she thought of as her own; Doug Kellough, her guardian angels; Garnet Snyder and Dee Roark. She was preceded in death by a son; Carl F. Dunn, granddaughter; Veronica Feinstein, 1 great-granddaughter, 5 sisters, and 3 brothers.

Kathleen was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a member of East Cumberland Baptist Church in Middlesboro, KY. She attended Brookside Church of Christ in Christian Union when she moved to Ohio.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, FRANKFORT, with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 5 to 8 p.m.
