Kenneth Ray "Spike" France

Kenneth R. "Spike" France, 64, of Chillicothe, died at 9:50p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Kindred Healthcare, Chillicothe. He was born on February 7, 1949 in Frankfort, the son of the late Samuel D. and Dorothy "Tiny" Hayden France. On April 4, 2005 he married the former Patricia A. Brown who survives.

Also surviving are two step-children, Carl Rock and Jacqueline Rock, both of Waverly, two step-grandchildren, Alaska and Hayden Taylor, four sisters, Mary Ruth Morgan, and Wanda Detty-Halcomb, both of Frankfort, Hazel Smith of Chillicothe, Betty Goodwin of Washington DC, four brothers, Jack (Betty) Brewer of Chillicothe, Robert Brown of Napoleon OH, David France of Frankfort, Norman France of Napoleon OH. The family extends a special thank you to his friend, Mike. He is preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Sumner and one brother, Larry E. France.

Kenneth worked for Rocal and Goodwill and was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to the time of the service.
