Kenneth Lee Hatfield Sr

Kenneth L. Hatfield Sr., 71, of Chillicothe, died at 9:35p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born on June 26, 1941 in Bellfrey Kentucky, the son of the late Craig and Daisy Osborn Hatfield. On June 6, 1961 he married the former Grace M. Seymour, who survives.

Also surviving are four children; Danny Lee (Brenda) Hatfield, Sherry Lynn (Gary) Park, Jenny Lanman, Kenneth L. (Rebecca) Hatfield, all of Chillicothe, seven grandchildren; Jamie Barker, Christina Lanman, Lisa Park, Brandy Hatfield, Shasta Belcher, Tabitha Hatfield, Cody Hatfield, eleven great grandchildren, one sister; Juanita Seiwert of Florida, three brothers; Billy Hatfield of South Carolina, Frank Hatfield of Columbus, and Willard Hatfield of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by one grandson; Dalton Scott Hatfield and one brother; Robert Hatfield.

Kenneth was a guard at the Chillicothe Correctional Institution and went on to later work at Ross Correctional Institution, where he retired after 31 years.

Friends may call at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 5 to 8p.m. In keeping with Kenneth's wishes, cremation will follow.
