Kevin W. Carter

Kevin W. Carter, 49, of Greenfield, died at 10:09 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at his home. He was born January 8, 1967 in Washington Court House, the son of Garry and Sheila Pinkerton Carter.
In addition to his parents Garry and Sheila Carter of Greenfield, Kevin is survived by his two children; Sabrina and Devin W. Carter both of Bainbridge, his loyal and trusted friends; Bernie Williamson and Steve Wise, all his family at R&L Carriers, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Joe and Ruth Pinkerton, his paternal grandparents; Emil and Nell Carter.
Kevin was a 1985 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School. He was a truck driver and worked at R&L Carriers for many years. Kevin was a member of the Greenfield Church of Christ and was a former EMT with the Greenfield Area Life Squad.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Greenfield Church of Christ with Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Creek Cemetery. Friends may visit with Kevin's family on Sunday from 5-8pm at the church.
