Kiah M. Ragland

Kiah M. Ragland, 19, of Frankfort, died on Sunday morning, September 9, 2012, at Grant Hospital, Columbus, from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was born on December 2, 1992, in Ross County, the daughter of Walter T. and Sonia L. Ragland of Frankfort, who survive.

Also surviving are one daughter; Jaslyn Kimball at home, one sister; Mara F. Ragland, one brother; Walter T. Ragland Jr., one nephew; Walter T. Ragland III, all of Frankfort, maternal grandmother; Wanda Johnson of Chillicothe, maternal grandfather; Robert (Susan) Blakeman of Chillicothe, one aunt, six uncles, several cousins, great aunts and great uncles. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Forrest and Faywon Ragland.

Kiah was a member of Church of Deliverance, Chillicothe, where she was a part of In His Steps dance ministry. She was very active in FCCLA and had served as an officer. Kiah attended Adena Local Schools where she was a cheerleader, played basketball, softball, soccer and track. She was in karate and boxing with Team Tokey Hill, and had been employed with Ohio Job and Family Services.

Kiah was a very loving, devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend to many. She was very kindhearted and would help anyone in need.

Funeral service will be held at 1p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2012 in the Church of Deliverance, Chillicothe with Pastor Jeremy Beverly officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort on Thursday from 5 to 8p.m.. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kiah Ragland Memorial Fund at any Citizens National Bank.
