Lavetta E. Mick

Lavetta E. Mick, 64, of Greenfield, died at 7:55 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. She was born on May 21, 1953 in Fayette County, the daughter of Eddie and Virginia Sheline Groves. On March 15, 1971 she married Burl Mick who survives.

Lavetta is also survived by her mother, two daughters; Teresa(Benjamin) Warfield of Sardinia, Stacie Lynn (David) Everetts of Greenfield, one son; Ricky Wayne Mick of Bainbridge, four grandchildren; LaKrisha Everetts , Spencer Mick and Sasha and David McCoy, one great-grandchild; McKenzee Murphy and one great-great unborn granddaughter who she couldn’t wait to meet; Avery, eight sisters; Rosemary Daughtery, Jane Ann Dean and Patty Smith all of Hillsboro, Brenda Groves and Linda Aldridge both of Bainbridge, Betty Cooper and Barb Willett of Greenfield and Norma Nelson of Columbus and one brother; Leroy Groves of Hillsboro. She is preceded in death by her father.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends and family may visit with Lavetta’s family from 11am until the time of the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
