Lillian Josephine "Josie" Brewer

Lillian Josephine "Josie" Brewer, 78, of Greenfield, passed away on January 31, 2015 at 8:15pm in the Court House Manor, Washington Court House. She was born February 6, 1936 in Pike County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harley and Bessie Looney Morehead. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Isaac "Ike" Merriman and Bill Brewer.

She is survived by three daughters: Juanita (Roger) Dillard, Tina (Ronald) Cannon all of Greenfield and Janette (Glen) Pilgrim of Clayton, Ohio, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two sisters: Ruth Mathews and Nina (Hubert) Lancaster all of Greenfield, three sisters in-law: Erma Green of Grove City, Joan Moorehead of Greenfield and Eleanor Morehead of Sabina, Ohio. She was preceded in death by one son: J.R. Merriman, four brothers: Eugene, Donald, John and Lee Morehead and one infant sister: Delores Morehead.

Josie was a 1954 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School.

In keeping with Josie's wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of Josie's life will be held on her 79th birthday, Friday February 6, 2015 from 6-8pm at the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield. Memorial contributions are suggested to the activities fund at Court House Manor, 555 North Glenn Avenue, Washington Court House, Ohio 43160.
