Linda J. Wagoner, 79, of Greenfield, passed from this life to her eternal home on Monday, May 8, 2023 in Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on Wednesday, June 2, 1943 in Ross County, a daughter of the late Virgil "Dub" and Esther Yoakum Long. On August 12, 1995, Linda married her husband and best friend, Roger D. Wagoner who survives.
Also surviving are her three sons; Michael Todd (Vedarena) Elliott of Greenfield, Dustin J. Elliott of Bainbridge, Troy W. (Beth) Elliott of Chillicothe, one step daughter; Dralee (Joshua) Brown of Greenville, nine grandchildren; Jeff (Veronica) Elliott, Aaron (Brittany) Elliott, Leslie (Tim) Steger, Miranda Elliott, Jayson Elliott, Clayton (Bridgette) Elliott, Mackenzie (Liam) Hanavan, Greyson Brown and Jamison Brown, seven great - grandchildren, three sisters-in-law; Ginger Long of Bourneville, Sylvia Long of Columbus and Kitty Long of Winter Haven, Fl. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Detty and Marcella Yoakem, three brothers, David, Everett and James Long.
Linda was an active member of the Pisgah Church. She had previously worked at Farmer's Wholesale in Greenfield. She loved the time she spent working at the Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, FL. She also volunteered at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 5 p.m. at the Pisgah Church, 3217 Lyndon- Good Hope Road, Greenfield with Larry Snodgrass officiating. The doors of the church will open at 4 p.m. for friends to gather for the service. Following the service, a time of fellowship and meal will be held in the fellowship hall of the church. Linda will be laid to rest at a later date in the Bainbridge Cemetery. The ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield is serving the family.
