Lindy Sue "Peachie" (Minney) Lilley 69 of Chillicothe passed from this life Friday, August 2, 2024, at her residence. She was born at home on Thursday, March 17, 1955, in Bourneville, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Ruby (Pierce) Minney. On Saturday, March 4, 1978, she married, her husband of 46 years, John M. Lilley, who survives. 

Also surviving are her children Chasity Burress and John W. Lilley; grandchildren Edward, Mara Jade and Micheal Burress and Shanna Lilley; brothers Larry Minney (Rosemary), John “Bill” Minney (Terry) and Harvey “Hob” Minney; sisters Edna Kinzer, Mary Jo McLain (Steve) and Talitha “Tice” Rumfield; several nieces, nephews and friends; and her dogs Daisey Mae and Maxwell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Harry Gray.

Lindy was a simple outgoing country girl who spoke her mind. She enjoyed cooking, caring for her dogs and being a volunteer for the Post 14 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a collector of cow decor. 

Funeral services will be held 2 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Rev. Sammie Cooper officiating, with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with Lindy’s family from Noon until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.
