Lisa D. Burns, 58, of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born Sunday, October 14, 1962 in Ross County, a daughter of Floyd and Juanita Landrum Wright. She is survived by her husband, James Burns, who she married on December 28, 1986.
Also surviving are her mother, Juanita Wright of Richmond Dale, her five children, Mari Beth Burns of Lithopolis, Justin (Leslie) Burns of Frankfort, Ashley (Dakota) Leasure of Chillicothe, Joshua (Brittany) Burns of Frankfort and Jacob Burns of Clarksburg, nine grandchildren, Brayden, Kelcie, Mason, Aiden, Liam, Hudson, Cayden, Ava and Brooks, two sisters, Michele (Brent) Parker of Ray, OH, Lori Wright of Tampa, FL, two brothers, Bryan Wright of Toronto, Canada, David Wright of Richmond Dale, OH, two special nieces, Nicole Boyce and Stephanie Connely. She is preceded in death by her father, Floyd Wright.
Lisa was a graduate of Southeastern High School and she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Graceland University. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center for thirty-three years. She was an active member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Chillicothe. Lisa had been a 4-H advisor with the Concord Breeders and Feeders Club and had served as an EMT for the Concord Township EMS.
A private family service will be held at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Elders Harry Harrell and Phil Crabtree officiating. The service will be broadcast live at 1 p.m. on Friday on Lisa’s register book page. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort where a public graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021.
