Lorraine Downs

Lorraine Downs, 72, of Washington Court House, died at 1:26p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on July 5, 1943 in Frankfort, the daughter of the late Wales S. and Myrtle Jane Johnson Lowe.

She is survived by two children, Scott (Teresa) Downs of Greenfield, and Rebecca (Michael) Baker of Bloomingburg, three grandchildren, Jacqueline, Harley and Makenna, one sister, Gloria Case of Frankfort, one brother, Charles Lowe of Frankfort, and a special caretaker, Tiffiney Willkerson.

Lorraine worked as a nurse's aide for Fayette Nursing Home for 24 years, and was a member of the Friends Baptist Church, New Martinsburg.

A funeral service will be held at 1p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2015 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Dr. Phillip Malone officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may visit with the Downs family at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 7p.m.. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Fersenius Dialysis Center, 1280 Rawlings St., Washington C.H. OH, 43160.
