LouElla Rose Houser, 82, of Frankfort, has been welcomed into the arms of our Lord Jesus in Heaven, free of all suffering, at 12:25 am, Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Legacy Nursing Home following a brief illness.
LouElla was born on September 18, 1941, in Athens County, the daughter to the late Herman H. Brown and Velma L. Caplinger.
LouElla spent her life as a home maker. She was a kind, loving person that enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with her family. She adored her great-grandkids who filled her life with so much happiness and joy.
She is survived by her two sons, David McColley, Emmitt Jr. (Jacklynn) Kuhn, one daughter, Mary (Dale) Speakman of Frankfort, brothers, Henry and Denver Brown, both of Athens, step-sister, Mary Phillips of Athens, grandkids, Emily, Emmitt (Jessica), Kevin Kuhn, Larry and Christian Johnson, and Amy Speakman, as well as fifteen great-grandkids. She is preceded in death by five brothers, Glenhis, Jim and Tom Brown, Herman and John Balch, one sister, Cledyth Misner, and one grandson, Justin E. Johnson.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Charles Maddy officiating. Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends and family are invited to visit with LouElla's family at the funeral home on Friday from 11 am until the time of service.
