Lucille Knisley 86 of Bainbridge died 6:51am, Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Westmoreland Place, Chillicothe. She was born August 28, 1928 in Paintsville, KY the daughter of the late George and Rissy Collins Hackworth. She married Charles Lester Knisley who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Monica (Andrew) DeLong of Laurelville and Mark (Rhonda) Knisley of Bainbridge; step children, Paula (Bill) Branscomb, Teresa Knott, Larry Knisley, Patty (Henry) Cawley, Charles (Judy) Knisley, Jr., JoAnn (Billy) Stauffer, Brigette (Bill) Davis, Tim (Winds) Knisley all of Bainbridge and Robin (Doug) Penisten of Chillicothe; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth McKibben and Pam Kerns.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by daughters-in-law, Gretchen and Marcella Knisley; son-in-law, William Knott; two grandchildren, Leslie and Ethan Knisley; and four brothers.
Lucille was a member of the Bainbridge Church of Christ and she was an excellent cook who will always be remembered for her famous family dinners.
Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, February 9, 2015 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Steve Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. The Knisley family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
