Lula Irene Boggs

Lula I. Boggs 77 of Circleville formerly of Chillicothe passed from this life Monday, August 27, 2018 at her home. She was born January 15, 1941 in Ross County the daughter of the late Cecil and Blanche Bridenbaugh Strouse. Her husband of 20 years, Hugh Herston Boggs, Jr. passed away in 1981.
 
She is survived by her children Daniel Lee (Mary) Boggs of Canal Winchester, Brenda Sue (Robert) Jones of Lancaster, Sharon Kay (Eric) Johnson of Michigan and Michael Ray (Kerrie) Boggs of Circleville; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sisters Evelyn Smith and Mildred Baker; brothers Johnny (Dorothy) Strouse, Larry (Linda) Strouse and Roger (Carol) Strouse; several nieces, nephews and friends including good friends Judy and Jan.
 
In addition to her parents and husband Lula was preceded in death by her sisters Martha, Margie and Norma and her brother Wilbur.
 
Lula was a crafty person who enjoyed sewing and creating many beautiful items.
 
Funeral services will be held 10 am Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Rev. Dane Knapp officiating.  Burial will follow in the Moore’s Cemetery. Friends may visit with Lula’s family from 5-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
