Lyle Eugene Trego

Lyle E. Trego, 90, of Clarksburg, died at 1:07a.m., Monday, May 2, 2011 at Valley View Care Center, Frankfort. He was born on July 31, 1920, in Ross County, the son of the late Clarence and Gay Tootle Trego. On November 22, 1960 he married the former Ruth E. Cook who preceded him in death on December 27, 2000.



Surviving are his daughter; Janet E. (Jim) Knapp of Virginia Beach VA, grandchildren; James Knapp, Christopher Knapp, Valerie Paschang, Stacey Will, Timothy L. Knapp, great-grandchildren; Olivia, Will, and Samantha Pashang, Joshua and Seth Knapp. He was preceded in death by his sisters; Carol Ater, Cecil Ottman, Lela Smith, Erma Griffith, Patsy Overly.



Lyle and Ruth loved to dance in their younger years. He loved to farm, and was on a bowling team for Drummond Diggers. Lyle retired as a switch operator for the B&O Railroad.



Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 11am in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Martin Denes officiating. Burial will follow in Brown's Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 8pm.
