Mack Donahue

Mack Donahue 88 of Bourneville died 5:16 am Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Valley View Care Center, Frankfort. He was born August 10, 1925 in Ross County the son of the late Albert M. and Ruth Burke Donahue.

He is survived by his wife, of 70 years, Marcella R. Kellough Donahue, whom he married March 8, 1944. He is also survived by three children, James A. Donahue, Sr. (Cathy Daugherty) of Bainbridge, Janette Blanton (Tim Carl) of Bourneville and Richard M. (Julie) Donahue of Sparta, KY; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Jo Kerns of Chillicothe; and his church family and friends.

In addition to his parents Mack was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Rod Blanton.

Mack was a 40 year member of the Bainbridge Church of Christ and he was a retired Post Master who loved to work on the farm.

The family would like to thank the Heartland Hospice for all they done for Mack during his illness.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Bainbridge Church of Christ with Steve Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the Donahue family on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
