Madeline Spangler

Madeline (Mick) Spangler, 83 of Frankfort, died 3:57 am Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at her home. She was born November 27, 1934 in Ross County the daughter of the late Pearl and Sarah (Johnson) Mick. On May 28, 1952 she married Glen Edward Spangler who passed away February 18, 2011.

She is survived by four children, Glenn Spangler Jr. of Chillicothe, Cherri (Mike) Hutchinson of Hillsboro, Gary (Julie) Spangler of Bainbridge and Jeff (Beth) Spangler of Frankfort; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Carol Spangler of Chillicothe and several nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents and husband Madeline was preceded in death by 14 sisters, 11 brothers, daughter-in-law, Sherry Spangler and a great-granddaughter, Sophia Mathis.

Madeline loved gardening and she had a green thumb that could grow just about anything.  She also loved cooking and spending time with her family. She was member of the Frankfort Church of Christ.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, July 27, 2018 in the Bainbridge Cemetery with Shaun Raleigh officiating. No calling hours will be observed. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Frankfort Church of Christ 3636 Co. Rd. 550 Frankfort, Ohio 45628.
