Marcella Cowman

Marcella Cowman 87, of Bainbridge went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 10, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her four daughters, following a brief illness. She was born November 29, 1926 in Bainbridge, OH to the late John and Daisy Campbell Wurzbach. On January 5, 1946 she married Francis "Fat" Cowman who preceded her in death on February 18, 1998.

She is survived by her four daughters, Alicia (Paul) Martin of Bainbridge, Tracy (Don) Ferryman of Chillicothe, Francine (Mike) Myers of Bainbridge and Loveris (Bill) Rhoads of South Salem; grandchildren, Daron Myers, Phoebe McFadden, Kody Myers, Zac, Christina, Aaron and Eli Martin, Sam Mark, Jason Snyder, Bill and Jesse Rhoads and Roslynn Liggett; step granddaughter, Heidi Ferryman Colbert and 29 great grandchildren; one sister, Katherine Knauff and one brother, Robert Wurzbach both of Bainbridge.

In addition to her parents and husband, a brother Thomas Wurzbach and a great grandson, Elijah Stone Martin preceded her in death.

Marcella was a member of the Bainbridge Church of Christ where the funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday, May 17, 2014 with Steve Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
Friends may visit with Cowman family from 11 am until the time of service on Saturday at the church. The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
