Marcus D. "Mark" Short

Marcus D. "Mark" Short, 58, of Williamsport, died at his home at 6:01a.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. He was born on March 1, 1963, in Chillicothe, the son of the late Lonnie Short and Patricia Schoonover.

Mark is survived by a son, Alex (Lacie) Short of Peebles, Alex's mother and Mark's former wife and lifelong friend, Brenda Short of Circleville, two grandchildren, Dylan and Lainie Short, two sisters, Janet Keaton of Circleville, and Debra (Joe) Lemaster of Williamsport, five nephews, one niece, one great-nephew and one great-niece.

Mark was a graduate of Circleville High School and Pickaway-Ross Joint Vocational School. He worked in construction at Lithko Construction.

A funeral service for Mark will be held at 1p.m. on Friday. November 19, 2021 in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort, with Chaplain Jeff Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends and family are invited to visit with Mark's family at the funeral home on Friday from 11a.m. until the time of service.
