Marian Evelyn "Billy Girl" Shaffer

Marian E. "Billy Girl" Shaffer, 82, of Chillicothe, died at 12:35a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Vineyards at Concord, Frankfort. She was born on May 25, 1931 in Ross County, the daughter of the late William and Grace Shafer Temple. On April 14, 1951 she married Ivan E. Shaffer, who survives.

Also surviving are her three sons, Douglas B. (Barbara) Shaffer of Chillicothe, Stuart A. (Rhonda) Shaffer, Scott M. (Cathy) Shaffer all of Frankfort, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one grandson, three sisters, Viola Lykins, Maxine Dewey, Dorothy Bossert, and two half-brothers.

Billy Girl was a 1949 graduate of Frankfort High School, and a lifelong bowler.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort.
