Marie L. Brotherton

Marie L. Brotherton, 70, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly on Friday morning, January 29, 2016, at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on November 22, 1945 in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of the late Donald and Genevieve Spooner Bartholomew.

She is survived by one son, Brian (Farrah) Smith of Frankfort, two daughters, Justine Bryant of Arroyo Grande, CA and Burke Bryant of Portland, OR, eight grandchildren; Nathan, Jacob and Noah Neukirchner, Asher, Sophia and Isabella Smith, Ashley Bryant, two great grandchildren; Jaylynn and Coralynn Bryant, three brothers; Burke Bartholomew of Yucaipa, CA, Greg Bartholomew of Harker Heights, TX and Michael Bartholomew of Weaverville, CA. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Isaiah and Alivia Smith and one brother, Richard Bartholomew.

Marie retired as a Quality Control Inspector with Pacific Seafood. She loved and was loved by her grandkids. Marie loved to read and enjoyed the times she spent outdoors.

In keeping with her wishes, services will be at the convenience of the family. Cremation will follow and her cremains will be scattered in Oregon in accordance to her wishes. The EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort is serving the family.
