Marilyn Faye Rinehart

Marilyn Faye Rinehart 77, of Chillicothe went to be with the Lord 8:35 pm on Sunday, October 28, 2012. She was born October 11, 1935 in Ross County the daughter of the late Harvey and Katherine Gooden Shoemaker. In 1952 she married Russell H. Rinehart who preceded her in death in 1972.

Faye is survived by her three children, Bonnie Richardson, Ronald Rinehart and Darlene Strennen all of Chillicothe; six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter; two sisters, Firme Collins of Chillicothe and Donna Salley of Dayton; two sister-in-laws, Patty and Marcella Shoemaker both of Chillicothe and a close friend, Joyce Pierce of Chillicothe.

In addition to her parents and husband three sisters, Jenny Shoemaker, Frieda Walls and Dora Miller and five brothers, Roy, Pete, Dean, Bill and Harold Shoemaker, preceded her in death.

Faye was a member of the Camelin Hill Church for more than 50 yrs and she also attended the McKibben Chapel. She shared her faith in God through song for many years in numerous churches in the surrounding communities.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Camelin Hill Church with the Reverends Lonnie Hamlin, Mike Whitley, Bob Evans, and Dane (Carolyn) Knapp officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 pm Wednesday at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge.
