Marjorie Jean Dotson

Marjorie Jean Dotson 87, of Bainbridge went to be with the Lord 10:15 am Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Heartland of Chillicothe. She was born September 24, 1922 in Ross County the daughter of the late John and Clara Belle Alexander Crites.



On August 24, 1942 she married Melvin Adolph Dotson who died August 22, 1978.



Marjorie is survived by her children, Linda (Don) Rickert of Laporte, PA, Michael (Sandy)

Dotson and Jeff (Tammy) Dotson both of Bainbridge and Jonathon (Penny) Dotson of Johnstown; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Dotson of Chillicothe; 11 grandchildren, Martin (Karyn) Graves of Chillicothe, Jana Schiebrel of Dayton, Lynn Dotson , Michelle (Asher)Haskins both of Chillicothe, Jeremy (Nita) Dotson of NC, Stephanie (Joe) Kelly of Chillicothe, Zack and Kristin Dotson both of Bainbridge, Rachel (John) Lahrmer of Mt. Vernon, Heidi (Steven) Holley of Croton and Lindsey (Justin) Casper of Johnstown; 8 great grandchildren, Nathan and Kayla Graves, Clay Schiebrel, Macie Haskins, Jonathan Kelly, Julia and Emma Dotson and Faith Lahrmer; a brother, Glenn (Boneta) Crites of Chillicothe; and life long friends, Phyllis Cooper, Phyllis Thompson and niece, Marilyn Uhrig.



She was predeceased by a son, David Dotson; sisters, Ruth Walls, Dora Trainer and Alberta Crites.



Marjorie was a member of the Storms Chapel Christian Union Church.



Funeral services will be held 1 pm Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Storms Chapel with Rev. Sammie Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Storms Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home, Bainbridge.
