Mark Alan VanGundy

Mark Alan VanGundy 53 of Bainbridge passed from this life Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Ohio State University, Columbus. He was born February 12, 1970, in Fayette County the son of Darlene (Hunt) VanGundy and the late John Jacob VanGundy. He was also preceded in death by his wife Sayward (Ryder) VanGundy and his son Wyatt VanGundy.

Mark is survived by his mother Darlene; children Jordy (Katie) VanGundy, Tia (Carlos) Portis, Cody, Sophia and Christopher VanGundy; grandchildren Noah, Benny, Hailey and Connor VanGundy and Evon and Mia Portis; sister Crystal (Darryn) Samsel; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend Josh Smith.

Mark enjoyed fishing and hunting.
