Marsha Atwood

Marsha Lynn Atwood, 68, of Chillicothe, died at 3:10 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born at Waverly on Wednesday, May 27, 1953, a daughter of the late Fred A. and Jessie A. Bell Wallin. She married Roger Dale Atwood on August 10, 1970. She is survived by her husband, Roger D. Atwood, Sr., their three children, Tammy Sue (Jeffrey) Beougher of Columbus, Roger Dale Atwood, Jr. of Chillicothe, Jason Dewitt (Rhonda Lou) Atwood of Cincinnati, grandchildren, Heather Lynn, Joseph, Matthew, Chrissy, Rosanna, Katrina and Veronica aka Vern, two great grandchildren, Alex “Cool Cat” and Elizabeth. She is also survived by her sister, Jerri (Skip) Craig of Braden, FL, one brother, Allen (Carol) Wallin of Beaver, her mother-in-law, Osccie Acord of Chillicothe and her special friends, Nicky and kids, Cathy Lee and Charlie as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, James Everett Atwood, one sister, Phyllis Wallin and two brothers, Charles B and John R. Wallin. Marsha had worked at the Jeggs Machine Shop in Columbus and previously had worked at Advertising Checking Bureau in Columbus. Despite her many illnesses, Marsha enjoyed life to the fullest and met every challenge with a positive attitude and always looked ahead. A funeral service for Marsha will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Bainbridge with Pastor Dane Knapp officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Twin Township Cemetery, Bourneville. Family and friends may visit with Marsha’s family on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
