Martha Pauline Montgomery

Martha Pauline (Woods) Montgomery, daughter of the late Irma and Raymond Woods, was born Thursday, December 13, 1934, in Ross County and she passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at her son’s home. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Montgomery and son John Lynn McElwee.

Pauline is survived by 2 sons Doug McElwee of Bainbridge and Donald McElwee Jr. (Karen) of Sinking Springs; 8 grandkids: Scott (Lina) McElwee, Nathan (Tralina) McElwee, Laura (Avious) Jackson, Kara (Klayton) Juillerat, Derek (Mandy) McElwee, Amber (Josh) Michael, Chad (Erin) McElwee, Amanda McElwee and 20 great grandkids plus 2 great, great-grandkids.

Pauline was a beautician, loved her cats, and enjoyed her outside flowers.

Funeral services will be held 3 pm Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge. Following the service Pauline will be laid to rest beside her husband Tom in the New Fain Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
