Mary O. Ackley

Mary O. Ackley, 89, of Frankfort, died at 5:00 P.M., on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Heartland of Chillicothe. She was born in Roxabel, Ohio on October 1, 1923, the daughter of the late Fred and Edna M. Cox Hurless.

Surviving Mary are her children; Paul Ackley, Jr. of Chillicothe, Bill Ackley of Frankfort, Opal Pollock Lowery of Chillicothe, Judy Jones of Chillicothe, 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren, sister; Esther Keaton of Chillicothe, brother; Ed Hurless of Crescent City, FL, special friend; Maddie Spangler of Frankfort. Mary was preceded in death by two daughters; Evelyn Butler and Betty Dunn, one son; Donald B. Ackley, two sisters; Evea McGinn, Reedy Neal, one brother; Fred Hurless.

Mary graduated from Twin Township High School. Because she loved being around people, she worked at the American Legion in Circleville and the Greenfield Eagles.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 23 2013 at 11 A.M. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Rev. Wayne Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 P.M.
