Mary E. Brown

Mary E. Brown, 93, of Chillicothe, died at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Traditions of Chillicothe following a lingering illness. She was born on Friday, March 29, 1929, in Vinton County, the daughter of the late William C. and Fannie F. Justice Hutchinson. On May 1, 1948, she married Joseph M. Brown who preceded her in death on August 23, 1986.

She is survived by her three children, Joseph C. (Barbara) Brown of Circleville, Larry E. (Janis) Brown of Chillicothe and Wanda L. (Evert) Mason of Greenfield. Mary is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by one granddaughter, one sister and five brothers.

Mary was a homemaker and loved to cook and care for her family.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Stanley Kennedy officiating. Following the service, Mary will be laid to rest beside her husband, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be held on Monday from from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
