Mary V. Knisley

Mary V. Knisley 99 of Waverly passed from this life 7:45 pm Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at her home. She was born Sunday, June 7, 1925, in Pike County to the late Scott W. and Stella (Yoakem) Baker. In 1942 she married Phillip W. Knisley who died in 1990.

She is survived by her children Philip Knisley, Everett Cliff (Delores) Knisley and Janet Potts; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by four children Charles Scott Knisley, Glen Knisley, Anna Grace Brown and Constance Knisley; four brothers and three sisters.

Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed making jewelry and reading. 

Cremation will take place and a graveside service will be held in Twin Township Cemetery at a later date.

The Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
