Maxine Elizabeth Clyburn

Maxine Elizabeth Clyburn, 86, formerly of Greenfield, passed from this life peacefully on Saturday evening, October 31, 2015, at home with family in Charlotte, North Carolina. Maxine was born in Covington, Kentucky on May 23, 1929 to Maximillian and Agnes Bartels. On January 24, 1948, Maxine married William "Bill" Clyburn. They spent 57 years together until Bill's death on December 17, 2005.

Maxine is survived by her 5 children, Judith Knisley of Tipp City, Ohio; Janet Holcomb of Hilliard, Ohio;
Jill Emche of Charlotte, North Carolina; Jennifer Vanhorn of Stansbury Park, Utah; and Arthur Clyburn of Hillsboro, Ohio. Maxine is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She loved bowling, playing cards and games and being around children. Maxine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family and friends will miss her deeply.

Memorial services will be at 10 am, Monday, November 23, at the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield. Burial of the cremains will be held at the convenience of the family in the Greenfield Cemetery.
