Michael J. Maloy, 67, of Clarksburg, died at 8:04 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Berger Hospital, Circleville. He was born on November 21, 1946 in Chillicothe the son of the late Clarence and Margaret Carpenter Maloy. On April 28, 1973 he married the former Jerrilyn Martin and she survives.
Also surviving are two children, Chris Maloy of Frankfort and Michael (Anna) Maloy of Guthrie, OK, five grandchildren, one sister, Kathy Smith of Chillicothe, one brother, Pat Maloy of Chillicothe, mother and father-in-law, Melvin (Marilyn) Oliver of DeLand, FL.
Michael was a 1964 graduate of Bishop Flaget. He retired from Chilpaco after 46 years of service. He was a member of the Local 988 Union, a 4H advisor, a member of the Clarksburg Jolly Feeders for more than thirty years, and swine superintendent for more than 25 years at the Ross County Fair. Michael loved camping at the Ross County Fair, deer hunting, the Cleveland Browns, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
