Monica "Monk" Knauff

Monica "Monk" Knauff 57 of Greenfield died 4:49 pm Thursday, December 29, 2011 at her residence. She was born July 3, 1954 in Bainbridge the daughter of Katherine Wurzbach Knauff of Bainbridge and the late Wylie W. Knauff.
In addition to her mother she is survived by two children, Jeramie (Sara) Adams of Greenfield and Tara Adams of Bainbridge; four grandchildren, Carlee Adams and Canaan, Sydney and Clayton Yoakem; three sisters, Karlene (Jeff) Kellis of Frankfort, Rocky (Vood) Countryman and Penny Elliott both of Bainbridge; three brothers, John Knauff, Dean (Dawn) Knauff and Toos (Kim) Knauff all of Bainbridge; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father Monk was predeceased by a sister-in-law Joyce Knauff.
She was a graduate of Western High School and worked in home health for several years.
At Monk's request everyone is asked to dress casual for her funeral service which will be held 1 pm Sunday at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Rev. Jeff Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
