MYRTLE J. LOWE

Myrtle J. Lowe, 91, of Frankfort, passed away on November 28, 2013, in the Emergency Room at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born in Morgan County, Kentucky on March 23, 1922, the daughter of the late Walter D. and Nancy Susan Keaton Johnson. She married Wales Scotland Lowe on September 12, 1937 and he preceded her in death on March 6, 1997.

She is survived by one son; Charles G. Lowe of Frankfort, two daughters, Gloria Case of Frankfort and Lorraine Downs of Washington C.H., two grandchildren; Scott Downs and Becky Baker, three great grandchildren; Jackie, Harley and McKenna, one sister; Virginia Wheeler of Frankfort. She is preceded in death by two sister; Mary Short and Goldie Anders and one brother, Carl R. Johnson

Myrtle was a member of the Lattaville United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women of the church. She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting and sewing.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with the Rev. Dr. Phillip D. Malone officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Concord Township EMS, PO Box 616, Frankfort, OH 45628 or the Lattaville United Methodist Church, c/o Joe Smith, PO Box 53, South Salem, OH 45681.
