Nancy Conley

Nancy E. Conley, 79, of Chillicothe, went home to be with her Lord at 9:15am on Monday, April 3, 2023, at Traditions of Chillicothe. She was born on Wednesday, October 20, 1943, in Frankfort, a daughter of the late Ernest V. and Blanche L. McCoy Herman. On March 4, 1966, she married Cecil C. Conley, who preceded her in death on June 26, 2001.

Nancy is survived by her three children, Rebecca (Kenneth) Hatfield of Washington Court House, Willis Wayne (Jan) Conley of Piketon, Steven Boyd (Kelly Jo) Conley of Chillicothe, seven grandchildren, Tabetha, Joshua, Megan (Tim), Adrianna (Andrew), Cloë, Vanessa, Jase, eight great-grandchildren, Xavier, Carter, Ethan, Gavyn, Gannyn, Trent, Dani, Isla, two sisters, Eleanor Copley, Rhonda Herman, and two brothers, Elmer Herman, and Herald (Tammy) Herman. Nancy was preceded in death by two grandsons, Dalton Hatfield, and Noah Conley, three sisters, Helen R. "Becky" Steiner, Ruth "Billlie" Stauffer, Sue Fraley, one sister-in-law, Ellen Herman, and three brothers-in-law, Ronnie Stauffer, Jerry Fraley, and Floyd Copley.

Nancy was a 1965 graduate of Frankfort High School. She worked in the cafeteria at the VA Medical Center, Chillicothe. Nancy embraced life and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She married Cecil, the love of her life, after a three-month courtship. He would go to the same restaurant every day just to get a glimpse of her. She would always forget his utensils just to get a chance to talk to him again. So, it was meant to be. Nancy always followed her heart. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, April 7, 2023, in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort, with Nancy's son, Wayne Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery, Chillicothe. Friends and family are invited to visit with Nancy's family on Friday from 11am until the time of service
