Nancy Russell

Nancy J. Russell, 60, of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Mount Carmel East Hospital. Nancy was born on September 22, 1961, in Ross County, the daughter of the late Albert and Emily Heshiser Shoemaker. She is preceded in death by the father of her children, Rick Russell, son, Joey Russell, her companion and soul mate of 23 years, Donald Huff, and sister, Susan Warner.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Heath (Amber) Russell of London, Rick (Emily) Russell of Columbus, 7 grandchildren, Haley, Riley, Jayden, Bailey, Matthew, Markus, and Austin, sister, Sharon Shoemaker of Piketon, and brother, Joe (Shannon) Shoemaker of Frankfort.
Nancy spent years being a homemaker which allowed her to spend time with her grandchildren as most know she loved doing. Nancy enjoyed fishing trips with her family and watching television in her free time. When she moved she began working at Speedway of Columbus where she enjoyed working with her coworkers who described her as being hardworking, caring, kind, and a good friend. She will be missed by all, but remains deeply in our hearts.
