Naomi Mae Grabill

Naomi M. Grabill, 90, of Frankfort, died at 6:35p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Vineyards at Concord, Frankfort. She was born on November 4, 1922 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Luther and Elta Mason Sommers. On May 29, 1940 she married Gerald H. Grabill, who survives.

Also surviving are four children, Jerry (Kathryn) Grabill of Frankfort, Clark Grabill of Laurelville, Gwen (Bob) Harper of Frankfort, Pam Bowdle of Chillicothe, seven grandchildren, Rod and Ken Grabill, Shawn Harper, Jason Grabill, Heidi Wisecup, Bonnie Furniss, Brent Bowdle, two step-grandchildren, Michelle Harper and Chris Arledge, 11 great-grandchildren, one sister, Phyllis Schaffer of Chillicothe, one brother Harold B. Sommers of NC, and brother-in-law, Joe (Mary) Grabill of Tallahassee FL. She was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie L. Grabill, one grandson, Adam Grabill, one granddaughter Tammy Grabill, one son-in-law Rick Bowdle, two brothers, Luther Sommers Jr., Harry Sommers, and one sister-in-law Ruth Martin.

Naomi was a 1940 graduate of Frankfort High School and had worked as a pediatric nurse's aide.

Funeral service will be held at 1p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort, with Pastor Dave Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8p.m..
