Nellie Elizabeth Daugherty

Nellie Elizabeth Daugherty, 82 of Bainbridge went to be with her Lord 5:53 pm Tuesday, November 30, 2010. She was born February 7, 1928 in Frankfort, Ohio the daughter of the late Robert and Lulu Dennis Burns, Sr.



Nellie was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Elmer L. Daugherty and a brother, Robert Burns, Jr.



She is survived by her 5 children, Duanna (Jim) Brooks, James R. (Pam) Daugherty, Andy (Tina) Daugherty and Derenda (Kevin) Cooper all of Bainbridge and William (Wendy) Daugherty of Chillicothe; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and a special niece and nephew, Tammy and Fred McNeal.



Nellie was a member of the Bainbridge Church of Christ for 57 years, where she was known as the card lady for over 30 years. She also enjoyed shopping, eating out and camping.



Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Bainbridge Church of Christ with Steve Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Friday at the church.
