Nellie G. Watkins

Nellie G. Watkins 86, of Toledo formerly of Greenfield went to be with her Jesus 2:05 am Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from Arbors of Sylvania. She was born February 10, 1930 in Adams County the daughter of the late Raymond and Anna Dalton Whitley.

She is survived by her daughter, Ruth (Scott) Harrison; sons, Wayne and Jim Seeley; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth (Earl) Cross and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Wayne Seeley and James Watkins; son, Bruce Seeley; sisters, Mary Barber, Beaulah Keeton, Thelma May and Bea Partlow; brothers, Eddie, George, Willie and Ray Whitley.

Our Nellie will be truly missed. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She always prayed for her entire family and loved ones to know her Jesus. Nellie suffers no more. She has entered into her eternal home, with her God and Savior. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:21

Funeral services will be held 3:30 pm Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Pastor Mike Whitley officiating. Burial will follow in the Cynthiana Cemetery. Friends may visit with Nellie’s family from 1:30 pm until the time of service Saturday.
