Norma Kathryn "Kitty" Whitt Stackhouse
Norma Kathryn "Kitty" Whitt Stackhouse 82 of Chillicothe, OH Passed into eternal life on April 1, 2014 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 27, 1931 in Ross County to the late Willard and Helen Shoemaker Hurley.
Kitty was a 1949 graduate of Twin High School and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by sons, Michael (Jonda) Whitt and Jeffrey Whitt both of Chillicothe; daughter, Patricia Whitt and friend Dennis Johnson of Chesapeake, OH; grandchildren, Lorie (Kevin) May, Sami (Matt) Adkins, Jeni (Kyle) Patton and Zach Ellingsworth; and great grandchildren, Riley, Hannah and Jon May, Jonah, Gavin and Mia Adkins and Colton Patton.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Chester J. Whitt and Carl Stackhouse; brothers, Floyd "Bunk" Johnson, Donald "Jack" Hurley and Thomas Hurley.
There will be no calling hours and a private graveside service will be held in the Twin Township Cemetery with Willard Kellough and Wes Gallaugher presiding. At Kitty's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ross County Humane Society.
The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
