Opal M. Maughmer

Opal M. Maughmer 80 of Bourneville died 9:11 pm Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at her residence. She was born February 11, 1931 in Ross County the daughter of the late Willis and Eudora Cooper VanGundy.



On March 3, 1948 she married Curtis L. Maughmer who died March 12, 2003. Opal is survived by 3 children, Curtis L. Maughmer, Charles Allen Maughmer and Bessie Ruth Elliott; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Ann Eiring and Carolyn Rumfield; brothers, Rodney, Roger, John and George A"BuddyA" VanGundy



She was predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen Pollock and sisters, Mary Jarrells and Leila Henderson.



Opal drove the bus for the Pioneer School for 12 yrs and she was a member of the American Legion Post 14 Ladies Auxiliary.



A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 7:30 pm Friday (Today) at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge.
