Oscar Dell Morris "Papa Moe" died 3:08 am Saturday, December 27, 2014 at home with his family by his side. He was born March 7, 1928 in Octa, Ohio to the late Gid and Inez Morris.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Erma Eagle Morris; daughters, Jackie Cochenour and Sherma Holley; son-in-law, Lonnie Anderson; one sister and four brothers.

Oscar is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Lewie) Ewry and Charlotte Anderson both of Bainbridge; 10 grandchildren, five grandchildren-in-law, 19 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; two sons-in-law, Rick Cochenour and Richard (Becky) Holley; many nieces, nephews and cousins; a good friend Larry "Foxy" Parrish and his four beloved dogs.

Oscar worked as a logger most of his life and was a loving husband and a wonderful father and grandfather. He gave his life to Jesus Christ on December 12, 2014. So, as we are mourning his passing he is dancing with Jesus.

Oscar will be missed by all that knew him.

Funeral services will be 10 am Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, with Troy Villars officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. The Morris family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Adena Hospice 2077 West Water Street Chillicothe.
